HerbalGem is managed by an experienced team of professionals under the leadership of the two managing directors, Philippe Andrianne and Sergio Calandri.

Philippe Andrianne, Founder and Managing Director Philippe is the founder of HerbalGem and is responsible for R&D, production and trainings. He has over 25 years of experience in the field of herbal medicines, with prior work experience at Unda and Ortis. He holds a Bachelor degree in Botanical Sciences from the University of Liege ( Belgium ). Philippe is the President of the European Federation of Herbalists and member of the Belgian Health Ministry Committee charged to give advice about herbal remedies. He is the author of two books "Gemmotherapie, médecine des bourgeons" (2nd edition in 2002) and "L'Argile, médecine ancestrale" (2003), as well as numerous articles and other publications

Sergio Calandri, Managing Director Sergio is responsible for marketing, finance and business development. Before joining HerbalGem, he worked at McKinsey & Company and at Morgan Stanley. He has extensive experience in driving growth programs, including launching new products, expanding into new market and developing successful partnerships. He has also broad international experience, having worked in the US , Europe and Japan . Sergio holds an MBA from Stanford Business School and a Bachelor Degree in Business Administration from Bocconi University ( Italy ).
